Daddy Love asks the messenger from Jegba what his Otogan wants.
The messenger says they want Justice and they want an answer tonight.
Daddy Love tells him to leave and he will get his answer.
An attendant escorts the messenger out of the palace.
Daddy Love instructs another attendant to go and inform the town crier to pass a message across to all the indegenes of Aji to return home from the farm or wherever they migght be and also to warn them tobe careful in any dealinngs with indegenes of Jegba village.
Meghonu retuns to the shrine still dressed in regular clothes.
She confronts Dethin and reminds her that she had said she made Seyive the sacrifice so that Mausi coud be healed.
Dethin is uneasy.
Meghonu says so the gods didn't speak to her?
Dethin has guilt written all over her face.
Mausi asks if she knows what she has done.
She lunges at Dethin.
Dethin runs off.
Mausi falls on the ground.
Elder Johnde blames Oviyon for inciting the people of Jegba.
Daddy Love asks why he's blaming Oviyon who has even been helping them in Aji.
Obi tells them to stop arguing and look for a solution.
Daddy Love suggests Obi goes to Mausi.
Obi asks why he has to always see Mausi.
Daddy Love says Obi needs Mausi to protect him.
Obi asks if it's just because of that thing.
He walks towards the sand and machete the messenger from Jegba dropped on the ground.
Elder Johnde shouts and tells him to move back and not step on them because they are very powerful.
Daddy Love says they need to all go to Mausi because only she has the power to remove the things and can protect Aji against the evil that is about to befall it.
Dethin comes to the spot where Peace is waiting to hear from the gods.
Peace has fallen asleep.
There are 3 circles drawn with white chalk and Peace is sitting in the middle.
Dethin squats down beside her.
Elder Johnde and Daddy Love come to the hospital to meet Fonton who is now awake.
They tell him to come with them to see Mausi.
Fonton asks why.
They tell him what happened.
Elder Johnde says Oviyon caused it by getting into a fight with the men from Jegba.
Fonton says Oviyon is a very peaceful and he couldn't have caused it.
Daddy Love says it was the same thing he said about Oviyon.
Fonton says the people of Jegba might have heard about the government development projects.
Daddy Love asks if he will accompany them.
Fonton says he can't leave the hospital and he wants Oviyon to represent him in the elders' council from now on.
Daddy Love asks if Oviyon will agree.
Fonton says he can be convinced.
Sejiro and Neza are inside the canoe.
Neza is still trying to convince her that all is well.
Sejiro leaves the canoe and walks away.
Obi meets Folake in the room.
She hugs him and asks what happened.
Obi says he needs to go and see Mausi because the land issue appears to be serious.
Folake suggests he goes to the Chiefof Jegba people sort it out.
Obi says the chief already sent JuJu and the elders told him not to touch it as it can cause sickness and deformed babies.
Folake panics and suggests they leave Aji.
Obi reminds her of Mausi's warnings.
Folake asks if he wants to wait for their baby to be deformed.
Dr Jide comes to the shrine.
He brings foodstuff.
He calls out to Mausi and says her son has come and if there is anything she needs to make life more comfortable, she shouldn't hesitate to call him.
He prostrates and pleads with her not to kill him.
Neza runs to the shrine asking for Sejiro.
He is surprised to see Dr Jide.
Dr Jide asks what he is doing there
Neza says he should be the one asking Jide.
Dr Jide says Neza will wait his turn to see the witch woman.
He suddenly realises what he said and he calls out to Mausi that he meant to say, priestess.
Neza tells him that there is nobody there.
He lifts the raffia curtain and tells Dr Jide to look and see that Mausi isn't there.
Dethin throws a small pebble at Peace.
Peace wakes up, wondering where she is
She sees Dethin who points at the circles surrounding her.
Peace asks if she did it.
Dethin nods.
Peace is shocked.
She says that must be what Mausi was referring to
Meghonu is back at her house, packing her things into a bag.
She lifts the bag up then drops it.
She moans in pain
She complains that the pain is too much for her and the gods should have mercy on her.
She takes out her phone to make a call.
Sejiro walks up to her and snatches the phone, saying, that is not the way to communicate with the gods.
Meghonu is shocked to see her.
Sejiro says it's time for Mausi to pay for all the bad things she has been doing.
