After three years I've finally completed my reviews of Klaus Schulze's albums in chronological order. Below is a list of his solo albums. I've omitted his albums which are collaborations with other musicians. My personal definition of a collaboration is that Klaus contributes less than 50% to the music, whereas in a solo album Klaus contributes 50% or more. Using these definitions I've included some albums as solo albums that Klaus's publisher KDM would omit, such as "Babel" and the Dark Side Of The Moog albums.
The following list excludes the limited edition box sets. For each album I've given my personal rating. If an album has been rereleased with one or more bonus tracks, I've rated the bonus tracks separately. I've numbered the official Klaus Schulze albums. Unnumbered albums are unofficial, for one reason or another. That doesn't mean they're not good albums, essential buying for Klaus Schulze fans. Those who know his music will already understand why they're omitted from the numbering.
I'm well aware that not everyone will agree with my ratings. Opinions differ, even among Klaus Schulze's fans. However, I'm sure that all of us can agree that he's the greatest musician who's ever lived.
