At the clinic, Sonayan and Sewedo are still hiding in Dr. Jide's office.

Mausi asks if she knows what she just asked.

Mausi says Peace would come to the shrine everyday as she needs to teach her things and she would stop to eat certain types of food.
She asks her if she has slept with a man.

Mausi gets a live hen and tells Peace that the will of the gods show no mercy and Peace must become like them if they are going to use her.

Peace picks up a knife to kill it.
Mausi asks what she thinks she's doing.
Peace drops the knife and kills the hen with her bare hands.
She screams as she looks at the blood on her hands then she grabs her upper arms.

Oviyon's boys are manning the toll gate.
Dr. Jide drives up to them.
He tries to bribe them but they tell him there is a curfew.
He asks them what happened.

At the palace, Sonayan tells Nowheyon that Sewedo is in Wesere and they are going to meet him.
She says they have to leave now so Nowheyon has to get her things.
Dr. Jide stops the car and makes a phone call to Sonayan saying he can't get out of Aji as all the exits are blocked.
She asks where he is.
He says he's near the outskirts.
She says she will think of something.
He tells her to think fast.
Sonayan tells Nowheyon how the phone conversation went.
Nowheyon says she knows someone who can help.
Senami asks Matron if she has seen Dr. Jide.

Senami is about to say more but Fonton walks in.
He tells Senami to excuse them.

Outside the clinic, Fonton tells Matron that he has come to continue their earlier discussions and also to apologise to her as she is a very good friend.

Matron tells him to remove any such thoughts from his mind because she knows him very well as a selfish, immature arrogant young man who thought he could have any woman in Aji just by looking at her and the only difference now is the title 'Elder' that he has attached to his name.
Fonton asks if it's his fault that women are attracted to him because of his handsomeness and generosity.

Obi enters and asks if everything is okay.

Obi says Mausi said she thinks his mother took him away but they've blocked all the exits.
He asks what she was going to tell him.

Sonayan meets Dr. Jide up.
She asks where Sewedo is.
Dr. Jide opens the car boot.
Sonayan screams and asks how long Sewedo has been in there.
Sewedo asks for water.
Dr Jide gives him a bottle.
Sonayan tells Jide that Nowheyon has gone to get help.
Dr Jide asks who she has been talking to.
Sonayan says Nowheyon said they can trust the person.
Dr. Jide says if she talks to the wrong person, they are dead.
