Neza is in the canoe, brooding.
Seye comes to meet him.
He tells Neza not to worry as he would get over the issue soon.
Neza says be feels like he's still there.
Seye assures him that Sesinu would be fine and Neza needs to know he can't change what has happened but he can still help Senami if he wants to.
Neza asks how.
Seye says her father is still missing so Neza can help to look for him.
Peace is in the bush, sitting alone.
She's talking to Jonah.
She says if he were alive they would have gone to Lagos with their baby.
She says this wasn't the plan and it's not his fault but as he is gone, she wouldn't let it be in vain; they took him from her because they wanted their Mausi and now they want to take their baby too.
She says if it's Mausi they want, then she will show them as she won't cry again from now but it will be Aji who cries instead.
Folake is with Obi's mother in the palace.
Obi's mother asks if they want to have their baby in Aji.
Folake says they want to leave but every time they try something happens.
Obi walks in and his mother asks why they can't leave Aji.
Obi tells her it's complicated.
She asks how.
Folake tells her about Mausi who found out that Obi wasn't Miyise then she told him not to try to leave Aji otherwise bad things would happen and now the new Priestess is even worse and has cursed their baby.
Obi's mother asks why they don't just leave or seek help.
Obi says they don't need her help.
Dr Jide is outside the clinic, talking on the phone.
He tells the person at the other end to make sure the original expiry dates are not on the packets of the drugs he will supply.
Seye and Neza arrive.
Jide says he was talking to a supplier who works with a pharmaceutical company.
Seye says Jide needs to slow down on the plan for now because he's preoccupied with other matters.
Jide asks what the other matter is.
Seye says Senami's father is missing.
He asks if Jide can lend them his car.
Jide says he will join them.
Sejiro brings food to Senami at the lodge.
Seye calls Senami to let her know he and some guys are about to set out to look for her father.
She says she will come with them.
An unknown man is in the palace.
He tells Obi that he has come to find out if his land is part of the free trade zone.
Obi tells him his land is not in that zone.
The man says he paid a lot for it.
Obi asks what he means and who he is.
The man runs out.
Seye, Senami, Sejiro, Neza and Dr Jide are in the forest, searching for George Minasu.
They are all tired.
Senami tells them not to bother anymore as she will continue on her own.
She leaves them.
Neza and Sejiro follow her.
Dr Jide stops Seye to ask about the supplies for the clinic.
Seye says he doesn't have the time for that now.
Jide insists they need to talk about it as his friend, the supplier needs to know.
Seye says he has just 1 million naira to fund the clinic with.
Dr Jide is satisfied.
They join the others.
Matron comes to the shrine to ask Meghonu if she's really not a part of George's disappearance
Meghonu asks what use she would have for him.
Matron says strange things have been happening in Aji.
Meghonu says it's always been like that in Aji but if what she's thinking is true, then Senami needs to get ready.
Matron reminds her that Senami is looking for her father.
Meghonu says it doesn't matter as it's all connected.
Matron says Meghonu is talking like this and expects people not to think she's doing anything.
Meghonu says she doesn't need to do anything as Senami will rise up to her destiny with or without anybody's help, unlike Peace.
Matron says upon all that Peace has suffered.
Meghonu says whatever happens now is Peace's business.
Senami and the search party come to the shed where her father is being kept.
It's padlocked from outside.
She begs some men to break the padlock.
They break it and everyone moves in.
Senami sees her father's shirt and his phone.
Dr Jide says he doesn't like what's going on.
Seye tells Senami that her father might be looking for her.
He decides to call the police.
Neza tells him not to bother as the Wesere police are unreliable.
They discover Senami has left the hut.
Dr Jide is walking alone and talking on his phone.
Some boys come down from a van and hit him.
He tells them to get out of his way.
The man who went to see Obi about his land earlier, hits Jide from behind and orders his boys to put him in the van.
The boys drag him into the van and they take him away.
At the shrine, Meghonu is having a drink.
Peace calls her several times but she ignores Peace.
Peace snatches the bottle from her.
Meghonu asks if she has lost her mind then she calls her baby an abomination.
Peace says she wants Meghonu to listen carefully, she is going to give birth to her baby so Meghonu and her gods need to understand that.
Meghonu asks if she's making threats.
Peace says she's ready to fight Meghonu if that's what she wants.
Senami walks in and says she's done.
They stare at her in confusion.
Senami says she's done fighting.
The woman who was holding Geroge Minasu hostage is walking through the village.
Matron runs after her and asks if it's really Medeyomi.
The woman turns around to face her.
Matron gasps.
