Vicky comes to meet Brenda in her office.
She tells Brenda to come with her as they have a surprise for her.
Brenda says she's not in the mood and everyone needs to get back to their work.
Bimpe and Shina are home.
Shina is still whining about the reviews critics gave his short film.
Bimpe tells him to calm down and not be discouraged.
She gets a phone call and afterwards, she tells Shina to inform Shoshanna that she has a reading at Reel Studios.
Bright comes to meet Monica in her office at her behest.
She asks about his mother and how her hospital bills are being taken care of.
Bright says Dikibo takes care of the bills.
Amaka says she wants to help.
Bright says there is no need.
Amaka says she knows Freddie is his friend and he should be concerned about Monica.
He doesn't respond.
She begs him to look out for Monica and report to her and whatever she gets from him will be used for Monica's good only.
Serena and Sankey come to see Brenda in her office.
Serena tells her that the staff just want to celebrate her.
Brenda says she doesn't like to celebrate too early.
Serena and Sankey plead with her.
Brenda says she has to focus now.
Sankey asks if she's afraid.
Brenda says she always wins in the end but things are getting tougher and she will only celebrate when she's on solid ground.
She tells them that they are her support system.
Serena and Sankey are touched by her words.
Queen comes to inform her that she has a meeting.
Brenda says she can't go to any meeting as she has one with the Okochas.
She tells Queen to order more cakes and pizza for the staff to celebrate.
Serena and Sankey pull Brenda in for a group hug.
Dikibo is at home.
Bright comes to see him and tells him that he doesn't like the way Monica is being treated at work all because of Amaka.
Dikibo tells him not to involve himself with office politics.
Shoshanna is sitting in front of Laide and a director at Reel Studios.
Her phone rings.
Sho apologises.
The director tells her that she read well for a first timer and they've decided to give her the role.
Sho is excited
Laide tells her it's a proper movie that's going to the cinema.
The director says a contract will be prepared.
Monica comes to see Amaka in her office.
Amaka says she has a meeting but can spare a few minutes.
Monica says she is not trying to take Amaka's job so Amaka needs to stop antagonising her.
Amaka says Monica is trying to railroad her way to the company she built with her sweat.
Monica scoffs.
Amaka says she has slaved for the company for a decade and has a right to toot her own horn.
Monica says she won't stop her but Amaka shouldn't try to stop her either.
Amaka says she's done.
Monica says Amaka is dismissing her as usual.
Amaka says it's her office.
Monica says it's her father's company.
Amaka says Monica can stay in the office all day since she's the authentic daughter of Fred.
Brenda runs into Mr and Mrs. Otoro at a restaurant.
Brenda tells the husband that his wife tried to take her Company.
Mrs Otoro says they don't discuss Brenda in their home.
Brenda says they will soon be doing so as she's going to blow their minds.
Mr. and Mrs. Okocha arrive for the meeting and Brenda dismisses Mr. and Mrs. Otoro.
They prove to be difficult and tell her that they want to be sure that working for her wouldn't take from them but add to them.
Dr Gyang sees Monica working from the office reception.
He asks why Amaka hasn't given her an office.
He gives her the keys to his office and tells her to take things easy with Amaka but whenever she feels overwhelmed, she should let him know.
Brenda takes the Okochas through what her career has been like.
They say they like her and would like to work with her.
She tells them to send her a confidentiality agreement and then afterwards they will send their stories and she will get back to them.
She walks out of the restaurant, leaving them confused.
Bimpe and Shoshanna are at Ziggy's.
Sho says she will call her friends to let them know she and Bimpe are going to be co-stars.
Bimpe says they are not co-stars as she's the lead actress and Sho is just supporting.
Amaka enters the conference room.
Dr Gyang barges in and asks why Monica doesn't have an office yet.
Amaka says Monica shouldn't have bothered him with that.
Dr Gyang asks if she's not ashamed of herself.
He warns her to behave as he will be watching her closely.
