Watch Movies TV -
First of all, like a dumbass, I forgot to wish you all Merry Christmas in last RF so I hope everyone had a great Christmas and got tons of wonderful presents!
3h Director's Cut of Doctor Sleep is going to be released in January. I'm very excited. The movie was so-so but Rebecca Ferguson's performance is still my favorite in 2019.
Universal is patching Cats after releasing it. This is the first time something like this has happened. Shame on them for not fully embracing that hellish mess!
Brand new still from Wonder Woman 1984. There were many horrible things about my TROS screening but the lack of the trailer for it might have been the worst one.
Dodger Evans, everyone.
Here's Kathleen Kennedy's week so far: J.J. Abrams already out there explaining his piece of turd movie, Bobby Cannavale's son who was on The Mandalorian trashing TROS, the lowest cinemascore ever for Star Wars and Rian Johnson tweeting some low key masterful shade. Oh and the movie opened to 25 million dollars less than it was expected in USA. Then on Christmas Eve hashtag "thankyourianjonhson" has been trending for hours. And of course there's Oscar firing even more ferocious shots at homophobic Disney, but we'll get to that in a moment.
Also this film gets worse and worse the more comes to light.
And it turns out RT user score was tempered with.
Baby Yoda on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter. I forgot to talk about him last week! The final episode is today and the last two were wonderful. He used the force choke and it was the cutest thing ever.
I finally caught up with Harley Quinn show and it is such a delight. It's so hilarious too. I wish we got a movie like that, with Ivy and Harley kicking ass together and supporting each other.
Marisa Tomei joined Jason in that Netflix movie he is shooting right now. That's gonna be one hot film for sure.
So I saw Lucy in the Sky. It's just as dull as people were saying and the ratio aspect changes are really awful. 2019 was really a bad year for space movies. Portman was doing another ridiculous accent. I think the only recent movie where I heard her speak in a normal voice was Annihilation.
I also watched Portrait of a Lady on Fire. It's a very good movie with excellent cinematography but the the letterboxd and film twitter crowd hyped it to truly ridiculous levels. I wasn't in love with it, same as with Carol and Call me By Your Name which I also found to be incredibly overhyped, but this one was better than those two. Also once you saw The Handmaiden there is no way a love story between two women can ever top that one.
I FINALLY watched The Lighthouse and loved it. Eggers and Aster are now 2 for 2. See, Peele? It's not that hard. The film was so engaging and visually amazing. Both Dafoe and Pattinson were fantastic.
I also saw Fantastic Planet for letterboxd film club. It was utterly insane.
Judy was a mediocre movie with great central performance from Zellweger. I'm so happy she is getting attention for her work, all those comments about her looks over the years were awful so it's wonderful to see her doing so well these days.
Rocketman was also mediocre, but slightly better than Judy. Elton's music added so much to it and both Taron's singing and his performance were very impressive.
Uncut Gems was such an intense movie, it took me few minutes to get into that but I'm glad I did because it went to some really unexpected places. Sandler was fantastic in that.
I also watched Jojo Rabbit and that was very sweet. The performances were lovely (Sam Rockwell!) and the film was very funny. But there was a surprising amount of sad things there, including one really shocking scene.
I saw A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood and it was such a sweet, warm movie. Hanks and Rhys were excellent and that minute of silence scene was magical.
I too am absolutely shocked Oscar's chaotic ass can drive.
I CAN'T!!!!! HE IS TOO PRECIOUS!!!!
He will never give up with this (1,2) oh and he used all the colors of the rainbow!
The shots fired at Disney are getting more ferocious.
This one. He has no fear.
NO FEAR. I couldn't stop laughing at that video The level of done unseen since Leto in Squad and Hamill in TLJ.

This level of pettiness is amazing and adorable when it is coming from him. That chuckle there, lol!
Here are whole interviews with Oscar (1,2,3,4,5,6). Him and Boyega were clearly going insane during that press tour.
This one is in Spanish so I don't understand a word but fuck it, it's so hot when he speaks Spanish.
His sister used to dress him up as a girl and call him Raisin.
Oh my God:

The Baby Yoda hate continues! Look how he shakes his head and how mad his eyes are!
Pedro, throw this in his face challenge.
Oh my God. Look at his tiny ass carrying that tree.
I watched The Addams Family. It's just such a waste to cast him in an animated movie. Fucking Hollywood.
Just as I promised I watched and livetweeted The Nativity Story on Christmas Eve.
Yes.
I am going to Hell.
Here's another thing I have been doing. Yep, rewatching Narcos. My reasons are valid. And pure.
I have been tweeting my thoughts, God helps us all.
I also rewatched Kingsman 2 for him.
And then in a truly hardcore and stupid move I rewatched and livetweeted his scenes in GoT4. You know, since I figured there was not enough filth on your twitter timelines from just my The Nativity Story livetweet, so I had to add to it.
You're welcome.
