Masha and the Bear 1.5.1 - Laundry Day

This is a really beautiful episode. It could be called "Masha's Fashion Haul". It starts with Bear hanging sheets on his washing line.

Then we see the railway station where Masha lives. This picture is so beautiful that I could frame it and hang it on my wall.

The dog and the goat are relaxing in the sun.

The pig is listening to his Walkman. I wonder what sort of music he listens to.

But the pig isn't left alone. Masha comes and waves a dummy at him. In America dummies are called pacifiers, which definitely doesn't fit this image. The dummy brings the opposite of peace.

The dummy/pacifier goes in the pig's mouth. He's Masha's little baby, complete with a nappy (in American called diapers).

She takes the pig for a ride in the push-chair. What are push-chairs called in America? As you can see, the baby is bigger than the mother.

Masha pushes her baby all the way to Bear's house. She's filthy from falling in a puddle.

Bear picks her up and examines her. He knows what to do.

Step One: He puts her in the shower.

Step Two: He washes her clothes.

Step Three: He hangs her clothes on the line.

Step Four: He sews new clothes for Mashs from one of his sheets. Wow! Bear has many skills!

And Masha's new dress is ready!

Just look how beautiful she is!

Now she can go and fetch some milk for her baby.

Carefully, carefully.....

Oops!

So it's back into the shower with Masha.

Her new dress is washed and hung up to dry. Masha even had new shoes. Did Bear really make them as well?

He takes another sheet and sews more clothes for Masha.

She looks good. She's a fashion queen.

But then she finds food that Bear has cooked. Is it jam?

She sneaks away with it.

And she's in a mess again.

So repeat Steps One to Four, and here's her next dress.

Now let's eat some jam from a jar. Is that a good idea?

As a result she gets a new yellow dress. Then she remembers that her baby needs milk.

But she's distracted by the sight of raspberries.

Bear makes her a beautiful orange dress, but she falls in the lake and wades in the muddy water.

Her next dress is red with white polka dots.

It doesn't stay clean long. Bear is furious.

And he has no more sheets left on the washing line.

There's only one solution. He dresses her up like a baby.

And Pig can push her home.
