After defeating Whirlwind, Yellowjacket and the Beast rush back to the hospital to see how Jan is doing. On the steps outside the hospital Yellowjacket collapses. He loses consciousness and can't be revived. While he lies unconscious he slowly increases in size, finally reaching more than 150 feet.
The Beast remembers that when he worked at Brand Corporation he was working on a cure for mutation. He breaks into the factory and steals the serum he was working on before he was fired for absenteeism. He has to mix it with a sample of Jan Pym's blood, because her blood also contains the microbes that cause size change.
Vision and the Scarlet Witch return from their honeymoon and join the others at the hospital. Vision offers to enter Yellowjacket's body to deliver the modified serum directly to his heart. It's not easy – nothing ever is – but Yellowjacket is cured and shrinks back to his normal size. They return to the hospital, and they find that Jan has finally woken up from her coma.
Meanwhile, Patsy Walker – remember her? – has gone to the Avengers Mansion, looking for the Beast.
Meanwhile – that's one of my favourite words – Iron Man and Moondragon see Doctor Doom's time machine materialise in Doctor Doom's castle.
