Seanmi attends to Kingsley.
He asks why his body hurts so much.
Sesinu asks Senami if she can help him.
Senami tells Kingsley to calm down.
Sesinu asks if they can take him to Wesere for tests.
Senami says they can do more damage if they move him now.
Kingsley holds the hem of Senami's coat and begs her not to let him die.
He says money is not a problem.
Sesinu says she will take him to Wesere herself.
Senami says she can do that but if anything happens to him, it's on Sesinu.
Obi begs Folake's guardians to take things easy
The woman asks if this was what NYSC told her to come and do.
An attendant rushes in and Otogan Hundeyin follows.
Obi tells Folake to take her folks inside.
Folake takes them into the room.
Otogan Hundeyin tells Obi that his people have been suffering as their river has dried up and things have been hard for Jegba, that was why they were forced to encroach on Aji land and he has come to apologise for causing Obi to lose out on that land being part of the free trade zone.
Obi says he knows it's not an innocent apology without strings attached.
Hundeyin says he wants Obi to sell him part of the land for the free trade zone project so they can also benefit.
Obi laughs and asks why he should help him after all he put Aji people through.
He tells him he has other things to attend to and thanks him for the confession.
He walks out of the room.
Senami is taking a walk through the village.
Oye's assistant stops her to ask if she thinks he would have any difficulty dealing with the people regarding the free trade zone.
She says if she wants to be truthful, she will tell him to pack his bags and leave.
He asks if she's trying to scare him.
She says she has given him the honest opinion he asked for.
Folake's mother tells her to pack her things so they can leave.
She asks if this is how Folake repays them after all they've done for her, following men around and hopping from bed to bed.
The man asks what she wants members of his church to say as this wasn't what they expected when her Aunty brought her to them.
The woman lunges at Folake but her husband pulls her back, reminding her that Folake is pregnant.
The wife asks why he doesn't ever allow her to deal with Folake as she likes.
Folake rushes to the main to meet Obi.
Obi asks who the people are.
Folake says she will tell him everything but she wants him to forgive her.
He asks what they were saying about her being a maid.
Folake looks at him with pleading eyes.
He says so he has been very foolish to have been spilling his secrets and she never said anything.
He tells her to save her crocodile tears as he doesn't know what can be so big that she couldn't tell him.
Folake says she used to live with her aunt but her aunt fell ill and spent all her money on medical bills so she handed Folake over to her pastor and she became a maid but they paid for her education.
She says she didn't want him to kick her away that was why she didn't tell him.
He says they are having a baby and getting married so when was he going to meet her family?
She says they are not her family and she was still going to tell him.
He tells her to save her explanations and find a way to get her visitors out of the palace now.
Sesinu comes to meet Senami in her office.
She asks why Senami left her patient.
Senami says the best thing for Kingsley is bed rest.
Sesinu says she doesn't believe her.
Senami leaves the office.
Sesinu runs after her.
At the shrine, Peace asks Mausi if Mausis are more powerful than Otogan.
Mausi says Otogan is the traditional head but Mausi is the seat of power.
She says now that the shrine has been destroyed, they need to build a new one.
Peace asks what Senami's position is.
She asks if she has powers and if she is also Mausi.
Mausi says Senami is not Mausi, Peace is but Senami is a Minasu and the Minasus are the keepers of their secrets.
Peace says so Senami is not supposed to say anything that happens at the shrine.
She breaks into a long and loud laugh.
She asks how it will be possible when Senami cannot keep quiet.
Mausi cautions her and says she has a lot to learn.
Dr Jide is in the clinic with Kingsley.
Kingsley grabs his tie and pulls him down asking if he remembers what brought him to Aji.
Jide stutters.
Kingsley asks if he remembers what he knows.
Jide stutters some more and says he remembers.
Kingsley tells Jide to make sure he has the best medical care otherwise he will make his life miserable even from the grave.
Folake returns to the room and tells her guardians that she doesn't like the fact that they showed up without calling her.
She says she's pregnant and there is nothing they can do about it.
The woman asks if she has lost her mind.
The husband asks how she can be ungrateful after all they did for her.
Folake says she thought they would be glad to see the last of her.
She asks if they expect that after her NYSC she would return to being a help.
The woman says people warned her against Folake.
Folake says she's pregnant and engaged and she's grateful for all they've done for her but she needs to live her life.
The woman says they will leave but if Folake doesn't follow them, then she should know she would never set her eyes on her child again.
Obi is eavesdropping at the door.
Sejiro is sitting in the canoe.
Mausi comes to meet her.
She asks how long Sejiro will continue to wait.
She reminds her that Dethin was responsible and has left Aji.
Sejiro nods.
Mausi says everything and everyone has a purpose; some things have a temporary use, like Dethin.
She says Sejiro was destined for great things and she should come back to the shrine.
Sejiro looks upset.
Mausi pleads with her.
Senami is in the forest.
She takes out the hands and places them on the ground.
She pours kerosene around, then lights a match.
She puts the lit match on the hands but the fire quenches.
She tries again and again and it's the same thing.
In her frustration, she picks a stick and starts beating the hands.
